Sauce Boxx Carne Asada marinated flank steak is a reward to a hard day, or maybe the reason why your friends showed up to your BBQ. In any event, lets impress! Flank Steak is an affordable meat, thin so it cooks fast, and with our Carne Asada marinade, it will be tender from the fresh citrus and packed with flavor from garlic & a Mexican blend of spices.
Eat it with a side dish or chop up for an epic taco night!

Ingredients

1 cup Sauce Boxx Carne Asada Marinade
2 lbs flank or skirt steak
Salt & pepper
Directions
Marinade Your Steak
Place your flank or skirt steak in a ziplock bag or a dish deep enough to hold both marinade and steak. Cover steak with Sauce Boxx Carne Asada marinade until fully coated. Refrigerate.
+Option to add 2 Tb fresh chopped cilantro to marinade
Marinade steak for 1 - 4 hours. Do not marinade longer than 4 hours as fresh citrus can make meat tough.
Grill the Steak
Preheat grill med-high to 400 degrees. Remove steak from marinade and season lightly with salt. Discard remaining marinade.
Depending on thickness, grill steaks for 5 -7 mins per side.
Remove steak and rest for 5 mins before slicing or serving. If not serving steak whole, thinly slice against the grain.
