Brownie w/Whiskey Caramel & Toffee Bits
1 cup Whiskey Caramel & Toffee Bits
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 & 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup chocolate chips
3 large eggs
1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
2 tb water
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350* F.
Line 8x8 square pan with foil or parchment paper.
Lightly grease foil or paper.
In a large bowl, combine cocoa powder, sugar, salt, flour, and chocolate chips.
Whisk until combined.
Add eggs, oil, water, vanilla and stir until combined (will be fairly thick).
Scoop half the batter into prepared pan and spread in an even layer.
Heat 1/2 cup Whiskey Caramel Sauce in a microwave safe bowl.
Cook in 20-30 second increments, stir, and repeat - until melted and easy to pour.
Pour the Whiskey Caramel Sauce onto the brownie layer.
Add remaining brownie batter in spoonfuls of batter all around the pan, then carefully press/spread in into an even layer.
Bake for 33-42 minutes, until the brownies are baked through, but still fudgy.
Be careful not to over bake.
Remove from the oven and place on a cooling rack to cool for 30 minutes then top with remaining heated 1/2 cup Whiskey Caramel Sauce.
